You’ll always come back…
Dedicated to The Island Itself

My first trip to the Big Island was in 1994. That visit turned into 2 years. I was 22. The experience was absolutely incredible. The day I left to move back to the mainland, was one of the saddest days of my life. I had fallen in love with the island. I hated to leave. I remember the stewardess on the plane saying, “It’s ok, you’ll be back. Your heart belongs here.”
Ten years later I made the trip over to visit a friend. Looking out the window of the plave and seeing the beautiful mountains, that breath taking sea…I felt a warmth come over me. I was home. To this day, I still feel Hawaii is my home. My love for the island, the culture, and especially the people has grown stronger than ever. I can’t wait to share it with my son. We’ll be making his first trip very soon. And I’m sure he too will fall in love.
