2003 Love Stories of Hawaii Winners to Arrive in Hawaii: A Couple's Love is Saved.

Honolulu, HI - June 18, 2004 - Best Places Hawaii, home of the Hawaii State Vacation Planner (www.bestplaceshawaii.com) announces that the first of two Grand Prize Winners for 2003 of an all-expense paid romantic trip for two to Hawaii, Brantley Forgy of Killdeer, North Dakota, is arriving at the Honolulu Airport on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 via Pleasant Holidays. Winner Forgy dedicated his winning story "Truly Honey" to his true "honey" and wife, Twila. His story retells how the magical powers of the Hawaiian Islands, after 20 years of marriage, renewed the love and passion in one couple's lives.

The annual contest begins and ends every Valentine's Day, February 14th. The Grand Prize: round trip air-travel for two, a seven-night stay, rental car use, and a flower lei greeting, provided by sponsor Pleasant Holidays and Best Places Hawaii.

To enter, a contestant simply submits an original, G-rated love story of 100-500 words containing the word "Hawaii." Stories can be submitted online at Best Places Hawaii (www.bestplaceshawaii.com) or by regular mail at Love Stories, 1579 Kuhio Hwy., Suite 104, Kapaa, HI 96746. Official Rules and all the details are on the website or can be obtained by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to Love Stories, 1579 Kuhio Hwy., Suite 104, Kapaa, HI 96746. There is still time for people to submit their stories for the new contest ending 2/14/2005.

Love stories have been submitted from all over the world. One couple sent in a CD and snapshots of their honeymoon. Jennifer Smith, a first year English teacher in North Carolina, had her seventy 9th and 10th grade students enter the contest as a way of enhancing their study of Romeo and Juliet. On the website, visitors can plan their Hawaii vacations plus submit their own love stories and read love stories from others in a dozen different categories including First Love, Long Distance Love, Romance, Second Chance Love, Secret Love, Summer Romance, Timeless Love, First Meeting, Holiday, Special Occasion, Marriage, and Wedding.
