Best Places Hawaii Repeats as Hawaii's #1
"Fastest 50" Company in Travel & Tourism
Honolulu, HI (07/16/2003) – On July 11, 2003, PricewaterhouseCoopers with First Hawaiian Bank announced that Best Places Hawaii placed #1 in Hawaii's "Fastest 50" list in the Travel & Tourism sector for 2003 published annually by Pacific Business News. Best Places Hawaii's appearance as #1 in the Travel & Tourism sector is a repeat performance of its #1 placement on the same list in 2002. According to PBN's Anna Weaver, "Best Places Hawaii is quickly becoming a top pick both for people planning trips to the state and local companies wanting to connect with visitors."
First Hawaiian Bank's Chairman Walter Dods co-sponsored the July 10, 2003 event and shared handing-out the awards at The Banker's Club on the 30th Floor of the First Hawaii Center in downtown Honolulu. When asked what contributed to their success over the last two years, CEO Rob Sanford explained, "Our solution generates revenue for our clients, so they keep coming back because we keep helping them generate revenue, commission-free." Michael G.
