Waterfall Engagement Dedicated to The best husband on earth. Submitted by Anonymous We were dating and flew to Hawaii to spend a week together on Maui. Every day of the trip was spent playing, whether horseback riding, taking a sunset cruise, visiting the volcano, going to the 7 pools near Hana... our trip was non-stop exploring and fun. One day, we took an organized hike to a private waterfall. Once there, we were able to swim in the waterfall, and lunch was served. Once we swam to the waterfall, and with the spray misting us, my (now) husband proposed to me. He had a water camera, and our guide snapped a couple of pictures. It was a perfect moment, and one so special and unique, that even now, years later, it still makes me smile. He did not have a ring, because he wanted me to choose the one that I wanted, so together, we visited jewelry stores while still in the islands, and we found the perfect rings, one for me, and one for him. Every time I look at those rings on our fingers, it reminds me of that special moment, when he took my breath awa under the waterfall.
