God! Don't take me to heaven, Dedicated to My Hawian Friend , Linda Batt Submitted by FindMeEd As a Square Dancer,I traveled to many States but at a Square Dance Convention in Anaim California, I met this Asian Girl who did not have a Dance partner, She was from Hawaii, we danced the week together, and she invited me to come to Hawaii next January to the State of Hawaii Convention, I was there the next January We met at the Airport and was my escort every day And my dance partner every nite, her companion ship, and frindship, brought me back to Hawaii every January for the past 8 years, after 3 trips to Honolulu, I told her I was not comming back next year, She told some people that I would not come back next year, and at the end of the Dance, Some body made a remark that Eddie From the Far East [ New Jersey ] is not comming back next year, and to my Suprise I really did not know How many Friends I have there, And I have come back to paradise every year This last time I brought Fran Wadel, our Square dance caller, after we arrived at our Hotel, and unpacked our clothes, we went out to Dinner at this THAI Restruant, the setting was perdomanitly Pink with open air Window opening, and the tradewinds blew softly in, I Gazed starry eye, I looked at Fran,, And I made a Request to God, [ GOD DON'T TAKE ME TO HEAVEN JUST TAKE ME TO HAWAII, [I Found Paradise ] And my Asian Girl friend, is still my Best friend
