Perfection Dedicated to Perfecto Submitted by Marla My Dad has lived on Kauai for over 16 years. After college I moved back to Hawaii and came to live with a ex flame. Things burnt out quickly. I ended up giving up on my love life and wondering why I was even back here at all. A few months later an answer came my way. I ended up meeting a man here through my older brother. His name: Perfecto. At first introduction I laughed and told him that that (his name) was the worst pickup line I'd ever heard. Turned out it wasn't a pick up line, he was originally from Mexico and it was his grandfather's name. It wasn't long before we ended up doing everything together. I'm an Activities Director for a small company on the North Shore of Kauai, and we have had the amazing opportunity to see the best of Kauai from every angle: boat tours, atving, ziplining, luaus, horseback riding, and so much more. The magic of Hawaii is never ending, and I am so grateful that I have found the Perfect man to continue to share it with. When Perfecto and I talk about our life and our future, we see so much of Hawaii in it- we plan to have children, save for a home, and start up a small business. We feel blessed to wake up everyday to the sun, sand and sea and to be part of the people who truly appreciate and love this beautiful place. I count my blessings everyday for this gift of Aloha.
