Hawaii and You Dedicated to My husband Submitted by Anonymous It was one of those moments that you think back on often when life gets hectic with work, family and myriad other stresses. There we were, sitting on the beach thousands of miles away from home. Just the two of us, smiling at each other as the sun began to set, our hands grasped tightly together as brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow streaked across the sky and sparkled against the cobalt blue sea in front of us. We exchanged no words as we sat together. We didn't need any -- we had the Hawaiian sands, the setting sun and a few precious moments of peace and serenity that seemed to last an eternity. As the last of the day's light slowly faded into the horizon, we lazily finished our mai tais, gathered our shoes and slowly made our way back to the cottage. Neither of us wanted that moment to end but we smiled and took comfort knowing that we would always have Hawaii and we would always have each other.
