Love Stories of Hawaii

Timeless Love

Proof It Works
Dedicated to All You Infertility Clients

Submitted by G

I married Bill when I was 30 years old. We knew that we wanted to start a family right away - that old biological clock thing. After a year, we began all those invasive infertility studies. Two years, and I began Clomid therapy and I was so tired of taking my temp every morning. My husband was being sent to Japan for a week of work and he discovered that, due to the Olympics beginning in California, he would have to take a 3 day stay in Honolulu before he could get a flight back to the mainland - everything was booked! It was near our anniversary, so we opted to have me fly out and meet him in Hawaii, extend the "lay over" to a week and enjoy a little vacation. I told my dr. that I was NOT taking my thermometer with me. Eight months later, we had a beautiful daughter.

Another two years of infertility studies, and hubby gets sent to Hawaii for 10 days work and, again, it is near our anniversary. This time, with our toddler, we were able to fly together. While hubby worked during the day, I was able to watch my little girl enjoy all the tropical warmth of the islands - she learned to swim and named some of the birds that visited our table at the hotel cafe. She tasted fresh Hawaii fruits and marveled at the cascades of bright flowers. Once Daddy arrived, we hopped in the car and took in as many sights and activities we could before evening came and our darling fell asleep. It was wonderful.

And, nine months later - we gave her a little brother. The kids are now 20 and 17 years of age, and, when we talk about wanting to visit Hawaii again.....They PANIC!
