A Souvenir for Life Dedicated to Juanita Hutto Submitted by Ross Spring break of 2002 was one I will never forget. I was able to treat my wife to a romantic trip to Waikiki Beach and a much needed break away from her teaching job to refresh. In all honesty, it was not all romance. She did have to endure two rounds of golf I played, but she seemed not to mind. The week we spent in Hawaii was so enjoyable and the quality time was priceless. The spirit of the islands made a lasting impression on us. At the time we had no idea how much. Later that year in late November, my wife gave birth to our souvenir for life. In honor of our wonderful experience in Hawaii, we named him Kai, Hawaiian for ocean.
