Sweet Sounds of the Night
Dedicated to Colby

Submitted by Jan

Oh, the sweet sounds of the night
A rustling breeze or a Petrel in flight.
A Honeycreeper creeping;
A Greenhouse frog peeping;
Lush Hawaiian sounds of the night.

Oh, the sweet sounds of the night
Make some of us shiver with fright.
But please do not fear
A Black Witch or a deer
Making tropical sounds of the night.

Oh, the sweet sounds of the night -
Myna birds add such delight.
They flit and they flitter
They squawk and they squitter
To accompany sweet sounds of the night.
