My Precious Mate Dedicated to Kade Abed Submitted by Anonymous This story is about my dear husband, who is constantly doing for others. We have been married 13 years and have 2 beautiful daughters, 11 and 9. Kade is a wonderful father, provider, and care-giver. He was diagnosed with cancer 8 yrs. ago and is on the third re-occurance. He is now 42. Not only does he battle his own disease but also his widowed mother. She moved in with us 5 years ago, and suffers with MSA/Parkinson disease. Our lives always seems to be on an emotional roller coaster, but he always puts himself last. We now travel to Houston, TX, for cancer treatments. Tennessee has nothing left to offer to help him. We married 13 years ago at our Chattanooga courthouse. We never went on a honeymoon because of jobs and finances. I would love nothing more than to have a 2nd chance at a honeymoon with him in Hawaii. We often dream of a romanic get-a-way for the 2 of us but then reality of life seems to alter our plans.
