My wonderful husband Dedicated to Chuck Submitted by Anonymous 27 years ago my husband proposed to me on his knees on Valentine's Day. We married over a year later on June 21, the first day of summer. We've had many years of joy together. We've also had lots of tears we've shed together. When I was pregnant with our son and we thought we were going to lose him, he whisked me to Hawaii to relax. My husband gives me flowers just to say he loves me, he whisks me away for a day or two when things are too overwhelming. Two years ago he said to me in Maui that he'd like to renew our vows. So, September 10, 2005 we renewed our vows in Maui on Secret Beach at sunset. It was so much more romantic and life altering than our wedding 25 years earlier! I have told everyone that I know who is getting married, they have to be married on the beach in Maui, it is very uplifting. My husband is my soul mate, life partner. I would never want to be without him!
