A Wonderful Way To Awaken Dedicated to My Loving Wife Violet Submitted by Keith We took a seven day Hawaiian cruise for our Honeymoon nine years ago. We fell in love with Kauai and committed to return for our Fifth Anniversary. Friends here in Dayton own a Condo in Princeville and we rented it for two weeks four years age (we celebrated our Fifth there). There was a revine next to the condo that fell off into the beautiful Pacific. Every morning at 6:15 a bird would start to sing his or her song. By 6:30 the entire Jungle was singing their songs. What a wonderful way to awaken every morning. We would eat breakfast on the patio and a cardinal would fly up to the table and chirp at us. Before we left the island the cardinal was eating out of my hand. We could walk over to the edge of the cliff and watch the whales play in the ocean. The "Grand Canyon" of the south Pacific is almost as beautiful as the Grand Canyon itself but in a different way. My wife, myself and sixteen other family members will be flying to Honolulu in July to do the 11 day cruise. The closest place to heaven is Hawaii.
