Love Stories of Hawaii

Honeymoon at last!
Dedicated to To my high school sweetheart, Bryan

Submitted by Anonymous

My husband and I were high school sweethearts. We have been married for almost 19 years. We struggled from the get-go and never could afford a honeymoon. Every year, I dreamed of going on a romantic getaway to Hawaii, and every year something came up that took precedence over that dream, usually it had something to do with the kids or the house. I long to have a real honeymoon in Hawaii, or at least an anniversary. Here is my dream date in Hawaii!

My love and I arrive in Hawaii giddy as school kids. Arriving at our hotel, we hold hands. I think to myself, "Gosh, what a great husband I have" I cannot wait to have a romantic evening with him. Our romantic evening in Hawaii begins with a beautiful day at the day spa. We will have couples massage and pedicures. Over lunch, we will enjoy each other's company and distress from our lives on the mainland. After a relaxing nap in our room, we will change into our dinner clothes (sundress for me, slacks for him) My wonderful and romantic husband has surprised me with a horse-drawn carriage ride to our dinner destination. Dinner itself is amazing; we sit close and cuddle throughout all of the courses, watching the sun go down on the beach. After dinner, we walk hand in hand across the beautiful white sand beach where my husband kneels down and presents me with a beautiful anniversary band and with love in his eyes and in his heart, he asks me to marry him again. We spend the night cuddling on the beach, forgetting our problems back home and the bills we have to pay…. We just think of each other and enjoy the sunset of our lives! Now I remember why I married this man!
