Falling in Love with Hawaii Dedicated to Darrell, happy birthday. Submitted by Anonymous After experiencing the horrors of 911 we felt a need to get away to somewhere warm and friendly. Our travel agent zeroed in on Hawaii when I told her we hadn't been much of anywhere before. Well, along came an offer of a lifetime for a cruise from Australia to New Zealand which were two places my husband always dreamed of going so change of plans and off to the wonderful world of Aussies and Kiwis. Two years later we decided that we should go to Hawaii since everyone we knew said we should. We absolutely fell in love with Hawaii and so now are returning just a year from our first trip there. We missed visiting Maui so just felt that we must return to see and experience it. Since our car rental agent was so wonderful about upgrading us to a convertible last time figured we should celebrate my husbands birthday with a trip to his favorite state to visit. We are going with a package deal with United this time so we can relax and let them do all the main planning. That will be such a treat for me as I tend to be the planner for any of our trips. I know we will have a wonderful time.
