Findng My Self Dedicated to Husband Submitted by Alexandra Seems like an eternity, yet my story takes place only five years ago. My husband Gary and I took a very needed vacation to Hawaii. We stayed on the Big Island of Hawaii and were greeted by the friendly islanders and amazing scenery. All week long we snorkled with nurse sharks and found the warmth of the sun recharging our spirits. Beautiful flowers wafting their fragrances made our experiences that much more intense. Then one morning shortly before our departure I noticed a change in life's colors and it was as if all in my world tuned into the breath of the air, warmth of the sun and clarity of the water. Hawaii had a profound effect on me. I realized that I had found my senses, found myself.
