Magical Hawaii Dedicated to My Wife Diane Submitted by Robert As I look out at the deep snow covering the ground here in Michigan I Think Back many years .It was 1987 having saved for many years for a dream vacation that my wife (The love of my life) and I decided to take our savings and travel to hawaii . We have never had a lot of money but we were rich in family and our love for each other . We decided that the children, Deanna 9 and Michael 11 should not be left out ! they would go too . What a magical trip it was . We left Chicago Ohare and flew nonstop to Oahu on a huge 747. We arrived in a lush Pacific paradise and it WAS a vacation with vivid memories that I have remembered all these years. The smaells of the Islands,the Lu-au on the beach ,The Pacific Sunsets , Touring Oahu , The volcanoes , Diamond head , The National cemetary and Snorkeling while feeding the fish memories to me that are as vivid today as if I had been there yesterday . We are now married 40 years and the kids are grown and raising families of their own . We shall never forget This fantastic magical vacation to the most beautiful place on Earth HAWAII !
