The Shore Dedicated to My wife Angie Submitted by Anonymous As I sit here on the beach I yearn for your company. The rolling waves crash into the sand in rhythm with the loneliness that constantly pierces my heart. Oh, that I may stand up and look across this vast ocean and see you smiling at me. I listen for your voice being carried on the trade winds. It is all in vain though. Paradise is nothing without your presence. Not even the colors of this divinely mastered landscape compare to your beauty or the singing of the birds match your heavenly voice. Hawaii was made God but he forgot one creation to put in it, you. One day, oh that heart sought day, we will be together in paradise. Until then, I'll sit on this shore watching the sea.
