A wish for my hero Dedicated to Rob Submitted by Elizabeth My husband, Robert is the greatest man on earth. He is so caring, thoughtful and would do anything to make me smile. We had a wonderful wedding and have been married a little over two years. We never were able to take a "proper honeymoon". In our minds, we always dreamed of going to Hawaii for our honeymoon but never had the money for it. We were planning on finally going to Hawaii when we found out we were pregnant!! We had our baby girl, Alyson, in August 2004 and on September 14th, Rob was untimely activated and deployed to Iraq. We were both so heartbroken at the fact that he barely got to know his daughter. He will be serving overseas for a year.I am counting the days until he will be home, where he belongs. I am so proud of him for what he is doing for his country. He is making a huge sacrifice so that we can be free. For that reason has missed seeing his daughter grow up. I can think of no greater gift than a trip to Hawaii. I would love to be able to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary in paradise. The thought of walking hand in hand down the beach with him at sunset makes me smile. It would be wonderful to be able to surprise him with this trip. I know it would mean the world to him. He means everything to me. He is my soul mate, my best friend and my hero. I can't think of a better way to show him how much I appreciate him. I would love to win this trip to show him just how much he means to me and how much I adore him. I know we would make memories that would last a lifetime. Mahalo
