Our Holiday of Love and Life Dedicated to my spouse, William Submitted by Anonymous My high school sweetheart, William, and I were married 40 years ago. We were inseperable during our teen years, and we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our days sharing our gift of love and life with each other. My dream was to have a Christmas wedding, but the date of our wedding was advanced to April due to the terminal illness of William's father. We wanted him to share in our day of joy. When we were very young we dreamed of travel, especially to exotic places like Hawaii. We dreamed of having a house full of children. We were blessed with our second dream with the birth of four, healthy children. Hawaii remains only a dream. Every year we celebrate our anniversary as our special Holiday. The stores don't decorate or market special gifts for that date, there aren't days off from work for our holiday. It is ours alone. That makes April 25th even more scared and special for us. On our Holiday we celebrate love and life together.
