The Big Island of Hawaii Dedicated to The Searchers Submitted by Catalina I went to Hawaii searching for my true love in the shape of a human being but much to my surprise it turned out to be the entire island that i was searching for and not just one person. one person cannot compete with the beauty of the entire island of hawaii for it is so increadible and breathtaking that it takes a hold on you and you can't forget it. the hawaiian islands are so warm with tropical breezes and warm hawaiian natives who are sweet and carefree and let it all hang out. to feel their souls is a blessing to feel their aloha spirit is something i'll never forget, they are as warm as the tropical breeze. sometimes, i'd smell flowers in the air and realized that was true, i was honored to smell them. i felt very close to GOD on this island surrounded by all his beauty. the water was so blue and the beaches so white, coral washed up onto the beach and i collected them to remember when i get home. i'd wake up at sunsise to the sounds of tropical birds and i'd watch the palm trees sway back and forth in the wind. the rainfall was welcomed because i knew that it watered all the plants. being surrounded by such increadable beauty makes you aware that all the hustle and bustle on the mainland is not worth the stress. living in hawaii is my goal and my dream and until i accomplish this i will not be settled. i will be happy on a small homestead where i can blend with nature and kick back and relax and enjoy the beauty of the island of hawaii. i no understand the true meaning of aloha.
