A Vision Dedicated to Joseph Kapalin Submitted by Anonymous In the Summer of 1988 I had just turned 18 years old and was getting ready to head off to college. This is when I found out that my cousin was not going to survive his battle with Hotchkins Disease. He was 30 years old and way too young to die. While visiting him his last few days in the hospital, I talked to him about his loves in life and his regrets. He told me that he loved his girlfriend and wished he had married her, he loved music because he forgot about everything when he listened to it and his final love was the way the air hit your face and the smell of the Hawain flowers when he walked off the plane in Hawaii. Every year he would travel to Hawaii for vacation before getting sick. His regret was that he wouldn't be able to go back before he died. I would love to go their in memory of my cousin. The one who died way before his time.
