Confession Dedicated to Ryan Submitted by Carolyn I only spent one night with the love of my life, but we have become the best of friends by sharing the most intimate crannies of our souls through emails. We are separated by the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean. Although, I find comfort in knowing we will forever be connected at no matter what capacity fate should have us experience together. That I truly believe and no one can take that from me. In my heart's dream, I imagine telling him how deep my feelings run. Though, these words need to be spoken in the flesh. I imagine lying on the beach, in his arms, listening to his heart beat, watching the sun set over the horizon - together. I truly love him with all of my heart and soul. He holds my heart in his hands, and he doesn't even know it. If only I could hold his gaze just once more. I couldn't imagine a more perfect beach than Hawaii's for her volcanic black sand is as precious and everlasting as the three words I yearn to whisper to him..."I love you".
