Timeless Love

1963
Dedicated to Joseph

Submitted by Carolyn

When we met in 1963 you had me on a pedastal
I thought your were Adonas
You said, "Let me take you to Hawaii my Love"

We married and had 2 children you worked
You played golf, we laughed a lot
You said, "I will take you to Hawaii my Love"

Years past, I admired your strength,
Your enthusiasm to live the day
Till just last year a stupid
Little floppy innocent bubble in the
Back of your heart broke loose and
Struck....................
Veins in the brain are so tiny
You had a stroke; you were almost gone from me
Then you murmured, "Hah wah ii"

Now you are coming back to me little by
Little all experiences are new, so are we
You still like golf, you still love me
Now I say...
Let me take you to Hawaii my Love
