A Beautiful Woman Dedicated to My wife Submitted by Mark I've been around the world. But never over the Moon. Going out with friends, looking for love, just wasn't my first priority. Till I met HER. She was there, looking like all that, wanting to hook up with a friend of mine. She's intelligent, attractive, funny, made of all the "right stuff". If only I could be her friend, I thought. We talked, and talked, and then talked some more. She had a boyfriend she said, who lived a state away. Yeehaa, that's my in! Want to come over and play cribbage she asked? Sure! (What's cribbage?) Didn't matter. I saw my future in her eyes. You could fall in and never find your way out. No one existed there but us. She took my breath away. Not a model, not a movie star, but every guys dream. After we became friends she admitted her out of state date for New Years Eve wasn't gonna show so I offered to step up, and promised to make the night memorable. Little did I realize I was the one who would be captured. When I proposed a year later, on one knee, she answered, I'd be honored. Man, to this day, she blows me away. It's amazing to me how our families mesh and how strong our dreams of love have grown. I've waited so long for this. I dreamed of her. Now she's here. If I could take her on the honeymoon of a lifetime, it would be to Hawaii. We both have talked about it. It's the very least I could do. Help me make it happen.
