Police Officer Proposes In Hawaii ! Dedicated to My Sweet Bubba Submitted by Cathryn seventeen years ago, my then boyfriend john took me to hawaii on our first vacation together. he was a police officer at the time and he wanted to have a special holiday. to my surprise he proposed at the zoo in honolulu in a very unique way. he bought a pair of ceramic bears dressed as a bride and groom and presented them to me with a card that said that he would love to have these on our wedding cake someday and it would be up to me to set the date!!!we were wed on his birthday that year and will soon be celebrating on 18th anniversay. he is retired now; but we have been back several times to hawaii and always enjoy it as our honeymoon island !!!!
