Tropical Lifesavers and Hawaii Dedicated to Dan Wierenga Submitted by Anonymous On our first Valentine's Day, my husband Dan, gave me a gift I will never forget. The day before Valentine's Day, I saw that he had a card for me. Seeing that he only purchased a card, and not a gift, I decided to "out do" his card, by purchasing his favorite candy, tropical flavored Lifesavers. On Valentines Day, I presented him with his card and his ten pack of candy. Then, he presented me with my card. My face must have turned more red than the envelope it came in when I read the words, "This card entitles you to 8 days and 7 nights in Hawaii. Happy Valentine's Day." Well, at least I got the tropical theme right!
