Breezes on the balcony Dedicated to Ellen Submitted by Rick My wife and I took our first trip to Hawaii in 1998. We traveled to Maui, Hawaii for a wonderful week together and away from the kids. Our condo was right on the beach in Maui and we enjoyed the view over the beach and out to the water. We did all of the tourist things - biking down Haleakala, touring a pineapple farm, driving the road to Hana. We also enjoyed snorkling from the beautiful sand beaches around the island - including spying two huge lobsters hiding under the rocks. I remember especially waking up early one morening because of the time change. We moved out to the balcony to look out over the water as the sun was coming up. We snuggled up on a lounge chair then slipped to the floor and enjoyed cuddling with the sound of the oceans below and the warm Hawaiin breezes blowing in. It was a most romantic and memorable Hawaii holiday.
