I met my husband in Honolulu in November 1969 while he was on R & R leave from Viet
Nam. We had only been married for two weeks
when he shipped off so we were really looking
forward to this trip. Our reunion was bitter
sweet because he had to return to Viet Nam
and we had no way of knowing if he would come
home again. We will be celebrating our 35th
wedding anniversary on October 30, 2003 and it would be wonderful to return to Hawaii.
