Back Again Dedicated to Nancy Black Submitted by Gary Sometimes, you have to wait a long time for a dream to come true. I first came to Hawaii in 1971 carrying a backpack and a guitar case and a list of dreams in my mind. I was overwhelmed when I felt the charm and saw the beauty of the people, while the ocean and native music soothed my soul. Yes a first dream had come true... coming to Hawaii and embracing the aloha spirit! But, something was missing. I wanted to share this excitement with someone and I was lonely. Four years later, I met the woman of my dreams. Time went by and we had three children, and before you knew it it was our 25th Anniversary. In May of 2000, 29 years later I came back again with my wife. Romance filled the air while we enjoyed Waikiki for 5 days and then Kaanapali, Maui for 5 more days. Hawaii fulfilled my dreams, rekindled our romance and remains forever in our hearts.
