The Honeymoon Dedicated to My husband Gary Submitted by Sarah The year was 2000. We had been married 15 wonderful years raising 3 children. They go everyplace with us and we go everywhere they do. Baseball, Soccer, & Basketball. And the name of their manager is always "mom or dad". Time had gone so quickly. Honey, I said when are we going to have a honeymoon? We had said that every year since we were married. We were having so much fun raising our kids we forgot about "The honeymoon". In June we sent our kids to my sister's and got on an airplane to Waikiki. Just the 2 of us. For the first time ever. We talked and got to know each other all over In Hawaii, it was just us. We rented a car and spent hours together, just the 2 of us. We had romantic dinners together and walked on the beach, just the 2 of us. The days passed so quickly. But every day is a beautiful memory of teh honeymoon we finally had, 15 years late but worth the wait.
