Love in Hawaii Dedicated to Don my love Submitted by Sandra We spent one glorious week on Oahu, Hawaii... seeing all the sights, including Pearl Harbor. We stayed at Waikiki, and it was lovely and romantic, and we thought it perfect. Then... we flew to Maui for a week, and discovered Paradise! This was our island. Wonderful discoveries daily, and beauty that is never to be seen anywhere like it. We toured the volcano one day, in our rented car, carrying a picnic lunch prepared by our hotel. It was a wonderful day, with lovely scenery that changed with each 1,000 feet that we climbed the volcano. Topping it off with a kiss at 10,000 feet above the clouds. Unforgetable! We ate our lunch midst the beautiful "ice plants"... and rested in the beautiful forest. We did not drive the Road to Hana... as we listened to the locals on it being best to take the tour bus. What a fun day... and the waterfalls were breathtaking! We plan to return soon to this island of splendor, pineapple, luaus and love... for it was the most wonderful time we both loved sharing. Our love grew stronger that lovely week in Maui. Hawaii is the land of love...and Maui is the island of romance!
