Love Stories of Hawaii

Second Chance Love

Puohokamoa Falls
Dedicated to Lincabel

Submitted by Trisha

Dear Val

I know it's been a long time since we last spoke. I still have memories of our last day together in Hawaii. You just held me so close while sitting under a Palm Tree at Puohokamoa Falls. We talked for hours just sitting under that tree. Remember how we actually forgot to eat until about 9 at night? Where did the time go? I only bring all of this up because you asked something of me that day and I really never answered, did I? You asked me under the moonlight by the falls if I would marry you. I guess I kind of freaked out on you eh? I gathered my stuff and insisted on getting some food. I wasn't trying to blow you off. I guess I just got kind of scared. I could tell that I hurt you and I'm very sorry for that. But not as sorry as I am about taking off that night without even saying goodbye. I just didn't really know what to do at the time. I panicked and ran. I just didn't think I was worthy of your love. You were always so pure and innocent and well, I guess you could say I was quite a bit less than that.

Meet me on Friday at Puohokamoa Falls under our tree, where you will meet our son for the first time.

Love Sarah

P.S. If you still wish to marry me, I would love to marry you.
