The Love of a family Dedicated to Lee, Hilary, Lynlee, Adrian, Cameron & Tanner Submitted by Lynette About 5 1/2 years ago my husband and I decided to travel to Oahu, Hawaii for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful trip and everything about it was magical. We went on a romantic dinner cruise, saw the Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Falls and walked together hand in hand on the gorgeous beach. When we got home and told our five children about the trip, we vowed someday to take the whole family someday. November 9, 2000 our dream was realized and we all 7 of us traveled to Hawaii together. I worried because we hadn't all been on a vacation for quite some time, It took a while for us to become accustomed to each other again. That is where the island magic took over. Every day got better and each one of us was able to grow closer. There were so many fun and exciting things to do in Hawaii and we had such a great time. Snorkeling at Hanama Bay, visiting Pearl Harbor, the Dole pineapple plantation and walking on the beach. My children grew to love one another more. We laughed and had a wonderful time. We all have such cherished memories of the time we spent on Oahu. We vowed one day we will travel together to another beautiful island of Hawaii to experience another adventure. We all love Hawaii and love each other more for having that experience.
