I promised you a Honeymoon Dedicated to my wife, Q Submitted by Gary Other than my undying love, I didn't have a lot to give you when we were first married. You were happy with our minimoon and never asked for anything else, however I never felt quite satisfied so I promised you a honeymoon. You looked back at me and smiled as if to say just the words alone made you happy. I knew that someday I could give you paradise. Little did I know, at the time, that I would truly be able to accomplish this. Seven years later I had finally saved up enough money to give you a dream trip to Hawaii. This, I had decided, would be our official honeymoon. I suprised you at dinner on Valentine's day. I'll never forget the warm smile on your face. The next few months we planned our time to be spent on four of the islands over the course of seventeen days. As it ended up I guess I gave you much more than just Hawaii. I truly gave you paradise. You do not know how to swim, yet you took the leap of faith by snorkeling with me at Hanauma Bay. You were enchanted by the luau on Maui and the hike along the Na Pali coastline was truly awesome. You were in awe when you saw your first honu, and the tropical fruit was heavenly. But you said it all when you told me that paradise is halfway around the world from England, your home country. Mahalo Q.
