For years a natural talent lay hidden, until gentle persuasions led native Kauaian, Kerry Oda, to bring out his photograhic gems of Kauai to the public eye. Kerry’s love and respect for the aina(land) have given him an understanding that is reflected in the images he captures whether by land, sea, or air. Prepared to charter a helicopter, dive underwater, hike, climb or crawl over rocks and cliffs, Kerry is willing to travel by whatever means necessary to find and achieve the shot he envisions. Kerry’s passion for the island and goal to provide the best has been well proven over the years not only to himself, but to his many customers. Artist statement: "Every day the ancient gods and goddesses paint pictures for us. I’m just the guy who snaps the picture." Kerry's work has been featured on the covers of Kauai Magazine and 101 Things To Do. He has also been featured in various magazines, including Zento, Poipu Dining and The Royal Coconut Coast.
